Chey Delaronde
Chey holds a B.A. in Political Science from VIU. She graduated summa cum laude after specializing in post-9/11 international theory and Canadian public policy. She began her educational career at the University of Victoria after choosing not to pursue an athletic scholarship in the US, to be closer to her loved ones.
Chey comes to us with previous experience in office management and banking. Her passion to provide individuals with a quality experience and optimize internal processes has provided her with continued opportunities to expand her job roles, responsibilities, and develop meaningful relationships with clients and her team.
Chey’s athletic background is in competitive volleyball and fastball. Her resume includes the NVC Express (now Mariners), Nanaimo Diamonds, Victoria Devils, and White Rock Renegades. Her involvement in these clubs allowed her to travel and compete everywhere from regional, to international levels. Once in university, Chey transitioned into becoming a volunteer coach with the Nanaimo Diamonds Fastball program.
Chey is extremely passionate about her role at Prime’, as it takes her back to her roots. Her participation in high performance athletics provided her with limitless opportunities to flourish while playing, coaching, and volunteering. She knows the value of having a dedicated team to support a dream, and she looks forward to being part of that at Prime’.
